Our Tools

Below is a list of most of the tools we use in our daily business.

We do all of our PHP development using Zend Studio 5.x. Zend is known as "the PHP company". The founders are key contributors to the PHP engine. We have tried a number of Integrated Development Environments (IDE) before settling on Zend Studio. We have been using it since version 2.x and it is the most robust, stable development environment we have found.

Two tools we use regularly when working with our clients are WebEx MeetMeNow and LogMeIn Rescue. WebEx allows us to conduct a web based meeting with up to 10 different viewers on a conference line with all of the participants viewing our demonstration system. This tool supports white boarding and we can pass control around the group as needed to insure everyone gets a chance to explain their points clearly. We have used this tool for several years with great success. It eliminates a significant amount of traveling and supports impromptu meeting to deal with discussions and questions in a timely fashion. LogMeIn allows us to connect to a client's machine, with their permission, and train in the environment the client is working in. We call it "shoulder to shoulder support" and our clients really appreciate this feature.

We also have a full complement of image manipulation tools and eLearning creations tools as well.

Infrastructure

• We run a test/development environment consisting of 4 apache web servers running php and MySql servers.
