The two story design catches the ocean breezes and offers wonderful views of ohia and ferns from the complete wrap around deck. The deck is roof covered with a six foot overhang and blocks any sun from casting directly on the house for most of the day ensuring the house is always cool. The design of the house creates its own shade for 95% of the day. There is always a place on the deck to get a breeze or escape the rain or sun if desired.

The unique ridge vent installed on the roof allows hot air to exit from the attic and effectively draw the hot air up and out of the house. The natural ventilation features built into this house allow for a consistently comfortable environment even on hot days, without the expense of air conditioning.
